The first thing I noticed about the Melted Matte is that they don’t have a delicious smell. I suppose it’s not important as long as they don’t stink. I love trying new liquid lipsticks. They are my favourite type of lipsticks to wear just because they are so matte and that is the type of look I like. So, of course, I had to try the Too Faced Melted Matte liquid lipsticks right away.
Too Faced Melted Matte
For me, lipstick is just everything! It is always the first thing I noticed when I look at someone’s makeup and to me darker the better. I feel like if you know me and when I put my makeup on it is always going to be all about the lips. Now I don’t have all the shades that Too Faced sells but I have collected 8 so far and will be showing you those ones.
Let us talk about the price because we all need to know how much money we dropping. They are C$25.00 now to me that isn’t a bad price compared to some of the liquid lipsticks out there. I think it could be a lot worse if you ask me.
Okay, so I like the packing than again I like a lot of Too Faced’s packaging. The shape of the lipstick and the gold top and writing is all appealing to me. Is packaging important to you? To me, it’s not as important but it does help to catch my eye when I’m scrolling on Sephora. The doe foot applicator is nice as well. Not so great for getting a clean line when applying for me. I usually always use a lip liner because I seem to make a mess (as you see in the pictures below I used no lip liner) and usually overdraw when I don’t use a lip liner. I do not like how that looks on me.

It is supposed to glide on like a gloss but dries down to an ultra-matte, opaque finish. Your lipstick will always look rich, full and kissable. It also says it is never dry, shrivelled, or cracked. The doe-foot applicator coats lips in an intense, vivid matte colour that lasts for hours.
Now I don’t have any serious streaking when applying the Melted Matte liquid lipsticks to my lips. It also has good coverage when I pull the applicator out and apply it to my lips it will cover both my upper and lower. The darker shades you may need to do a double coat. If you do a second coat it doesn’t clump or get flaky. I also like that the Melted Matte stays on my lips all day. Sometimes after eating, I have to do a little touch-up on the darker shades but very rare. As for how it feels on this lips I don’t think it’s too drying. I can feel it a little bit because it is an ultra-matte lipstick.

I like the Melted Matte shade range that they have. There is a little something for everyone. Also a bonus, they come out with cute scented ones around the holiday that are limited edition. I don’t know about you but as soon as I see limited edition I must have it. Plus the holiday ones smell delicious which I expect from Too Faced. If you are a Rouge member on Sephora they also have a shade just for you (it is on the first swatch picture called On Point) and it’s a cute one if you like darker shades like me.
