Too Faced Just Peachy Mattes Palette Review

I think everyone should have a full matt palette. Now there are a lot of palettes to choose from but I really like the Just Peachy Mattes by Too Faced. I tend to grab it a lot for my quick everyday looks. Do I think you absolutely need a full matte palette? No, but I think it is nice to have (and that is not just because I like a full matte face).

For me, a full matte eyeshadow palette is just a trusty palette you can grab and you can put with some glitter or shimmer single shadows. Also, if you do choose this palette it smells delicious, that is always a bonus in my eye and the packaging is super cute too.

Price

Now is the Just Peachy Mattes worth the money? I’m sure that is the question you are wondering because that’s always what I’m wondering before I just give my money away. The palette is C$55.00. That would make it about a little under 5 dollars per pan and to me, that’s a good price. That is how I usually look at it when I buy a palette. Just divide the price by how many eyeshadows are in the palette itself. When it’s about 10 dollars or more per pan that is getting on the pricey side.

Packaging

The packaging is great. I think I love it so much because I don’t like the packaging at all on their Chocolate Bar Palettes. Having a mirror in the palette is great as well. The lettering, the pink and gold colours are beautiful and girly and I like it.

Claims

On Sephora, it says the shadows are infused with exclusive comfort matte technology for blendable, intense colour-payoff. The shades are buildable and have saturated colour. Delivers a matte finish. Features an ombré layout for easy transitions. The Just Peachy Mattes smells like peaches and cream.

Pigment

I was very happy with the pigmentation in the Just Peachy Mattes Palette for most shades. I have no problem getting the pigment on my eyes. The lighter shades I find need a couple more layers to get the intensity I want.

Blending

Now let’s talk about the blending. Does it blend because I don’t think anyone wants to go out looking patchy? The lighter shades are no problem. I don’t have to do much work for it to be blended. The dark shades are blendable you just need to give them a little more love I find. Having to take extra time to blend is not a big deal to me. As long as I can finish the look with everything blended. The positives of the palette just cancel that one small thing out.

Fallout

Another thing to think about is fallout for some of you. I do get some from this palette but very little. Not as bad as some other palettes (I do tap by my brush before applying to my eyes). I can still put on my foundation and everything beforehand and just lightly dust it away if there is any fallout and be fine. Now that I’m thinking about it there are a lot of palettes out there with fall out. As long as it’s not raining down underneath my eyes I don’t think it should be a deal breaker.

Just Peachy Mattes

For me, this palette is definitely one to try. Like I said I’ve been grabbing it a lot since I bought it and I haven’t regretted it yet. It is a palette you can grab for every day and who doesn’t want that.
