The Saharan Palette by Juvia’s Place Review

Saharan Palette

Today I’m reviewing the Saharan Palette by Juvia’s Place. These started to be on my radar because I have been seeing them all over social media. I heard such good things and the colours always stood out to me. So I decided it was time to try them myself. I ordered a few things off their website and I will be reviewing all of them. But let’s jump into today’s review.

Saharan Palette

Claims

They say their colours are rich, vibrant and highly pigmented. The Saharan Palette was inspired by the vibrancy and vivaciousness of the Fulani culture. 12 beautifully coordinated colours with 4 matte shades for transitioning.

Price

This palette retails for $20.00 which is a great price. That makes it to about a $1.67 per eyeshadow. That is amazing. Juvia’s Place product is so affordable. You can get the Saharan Palette in a set as well with 2 Gel Eyeliners. A black and a brown with a brush for $36.75. Which is what I had purchased. Also if you live in Canada shipping was $10.00.

Packaging

The packaging is nice. It has no mirror which I think helps with keeping the cost down so we don’t have to pay so much. The names are all on the front of the palette. The Saharan Palette has 12 shades a mix of mattes, shimmery and satin. It closes by a magnet, like most palettes.

Pigment

When I first heard of Juvia’s Place all I kept hearing was how good their pigment was. My expectations were high for pigment and they did not disappoint. The pigment is amazing and I have no problem with getting it to show up on my eyes.

Also just remember that skin tone and lighting can change the colour as well. Just keep that in mind if thinking of purchasing.

Blending

These blend like a dream. I felt like I didn’t have to do much for blending. It was like the shades blended them self. That’s how it should be. I love a palette I don’t have to put much work into creating my look. The Saharan Palette does all of that and it just a great palette.

Fallout

I have no fallout when applying the shades to my eyes. Keep in my mind that I do tap my brush before applying to get off the extra product. There is some kick back in the pan but nothing major. I applied my foundation before and had no problem.

Saharan Palette Thoughts

I definitely recommend the Saharan Palette. I had no problems and for the price and quality, you can’t beat it. Just keep in mind if you live in Canada the $10.00 shipping fee. I would have liked a minimum purchase price for free shipping but the $10.00 won’t stop me from buying.
