Here is look number 3 in my 5 picture tutorial series using the Riviera Eyeshadow Palette. This simple brown tones makeup can be easily recreated in less than 10 easy steps.
Before starting this look prep your eyes. Use an eyeshadow primer or concealer for your base. Lately, I have been using both. The concealer goes in my crease from dragging it down from my brow bone when cleaning up. I like to do that because it hides my veins in my crease where you would most likely still see them after I am finished my look. For the eyelid, I primed with the Nars Pro-Prime Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base.
Now that your eyes are all prepped and ready. Let us start this simple brown tones makeup picture tutorial.

Step 1

The first shade we are going to add is Estate. You want to apply that into your crease with a fluffy crease brush.
Step 2

Shade number to for the simple brown tones makeup is the shade, Cabana. Apply this shade into your crease and you can also apply it onto your outer corner.
Step 3

Add Palm to your crease and outer corner. Add a little bit at a time to gradually build the shade. Continue until you get the intensity you would like.
Step 4

Add the beautiful shade Yacht to the rest of your eyelid. Use a packing brush for this step.
Step 5

Starting on the lower lash line add the shades Estate and Cabana with a pencil brush.
Step 6

Now put on the shade Palm on your lower lash line as well. Once you are done that the eyeshadows for the simple brown tones makeup are done.
Step 7
The last step is to add mascara. I had used the Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara. I chose not to wear false lashes for this look but if you want to go ahead and put them on. After that this simple brown tones makeup picture tutorial is done.
