Pretty Vulgar Nightingale Eyeshadow Palette

I actually already own this palette and I like the palette. Also, I had already done a review on this palette. If you click HERE you can see all my thoughts and swatches. I also did a picture tutorial using this palette. Click HERE to see.

Alamar Cosmetics Ojitos Brush Set

I was so excited when I saw we were getting these in Septembers Boxycharm. I loved the Alamar Cosmetics Reina Del Caribe Vol. 1 Palette we got in our June box and I’ve been eyeing these brushes ever since. Also, if you have read my previous Boxycharm review you know I love getting brushes inside the box.

Now, these brushes are nice and soft. The fluffy Blending brush was soft and worked really well at blending my eyeshadow out. Next was the flat tight liner brush which I think you can’t go wrong with having one in your collection. For the lower lash line it is a dream and I can see myself using this brush a lot. The flat painter brush is another one I will be using a lot. You can use it to cut the crease or pack shadows on. All of these brushes I can see myself grabbing all the time.

Laura Geller Baked Blush-N-Brighten

The colour of this blush is nice. I find it also did brighten up my checks when I applied it. It had a subtle glow which I really liked. This will be nice for the days where maybe I don’t want to wear a highlight but still would like a little glow.

Hank & Henry Liquid Lipstick

I was excited for this liquid lipstick inside the September Boxycharm. Not everyone received the same lipstick. So I was happy to get this liquid lipstick by Hank & Henry. Now the smell I don’t really like. It does smell like frosting like it says it does but there is like a chemical smell mixed in. I’m just thankful that when it dries down onto my lips I don’t smell it anymore.

Other than the smell I really like this liquid lipstick. The shade is very nice and it lasted on my lips. I will say it is a bit drying on my lips. That could of also been because I hadn’t moisturize my lips first. The packaging is also really nice from the outside it looks like it would be an ordinary lipstick.

Sadly I didn’t really care for this item. I could have lived without this product in this September Boxycharm. I didn’t think it was that easy to get a straight line and as you can see in the picture below it was just a mess. Maybe if I continue to practice I could get it right but I don’t see that happening. Just because I like to use felt tip liquid liners and I don’t see myself picking up anything else.

September Boxycharm Thoughts

Overall this September Boxycharm was a hit with me. I liked practically everything inside which makes me so happy. Also, I will continue to use most of the products. The item I liked most in this box was the Ojitos Brushes by Alamar Cosmetics.
