I love a good face mask, but I will admit I am super lazy and half the time I skip doing them during my evening and morning routine. Most face masks say to apply 2-3 times per week and for me, I do them maybe once a week, if that. If you are consistent with face masks you are more put together than I am.
When I saw the mask frenzy set I was super excited to try them out because I hear great things about Peter Thomas Roth skin care. They also have good reviews on the Sephora website. I had good expectation so let’s see what I thought.
This mask I was excited for the most. It says its suppose to be purifying, refining, decongesting and hydrating. I wanted this face mask to be one that dried down and I could feel it bringing everything to the surface. Like the Glam Glow Supermud Clearing Treatment. It was a little disappointing it didn’t do that. I like that this mask is hydrating but I just find that’s all it was. This face mask I wouldn’t repurchase just because I would rather grab my Glam Glow Supermud Activated Charcoal Treatment.
This face mask I like to do in the morning. It is supposed to be cooling and refreshing. Anything that is going to give me some hydration throughout my day I like for the morning. Sadly, I don’t find this mask that hydrating. It just wasn’t what I wanted from the mask. The hydration it gave wasn’t enough hydration if that makes any sense. I did like the cooling feeling it gave my skin and I like that for after my charcoal face masks.
This mask I thought looked very interesting because you get a flash of heat while washing it off. It really is just a flash of heat. The heat sensation it gave was like for 2 seconds and I know it says a flash of heat but I was still expecting it to be longer. I do like that this mask is a 3-minute mask but at the same
This helps reduce the look of fine lines, wrinkles, hydrate, brighten, firm and tone. After using this face mask my face feels refreshed. I like to use it in the morning for that reason. My skin feels refreshed and a little firm. This is my second favourite mask out of the 6. This one I would consider repurchasing.
This 24k gold mask is supposed to revitalize, lift, firm, brighten, smooth and refresh the skin. Out of all the masks, I think this one is my least favourite. I don’t find it did anything for my skin. When I take it off I don’t see or feel any difference. I know that it takes time but most of the firming mask that I use my skin feels a little tighter and I don’t get that feeling with this mask.
I think this mask was my favourite out of all of them. This mask is supposed to help the skin look smoother, younger, radiant and revitalized. Using this one in the morning gets rid of all my dead skin and makes my makeup apply more smoothly. I also feel like my skin does look slightly more radiant after using it.
The Pumpkin Enzyme Face Mask would be your weekly exfoliator. I would definitely think about repurchasing this one if I don’t see any other exfoliator catching my eye.
Face Mask Thoughts
Overall I don’t really recommend any of these masks. Even though I liked a couple of them
