It’s time to review the November Boxycharm. If you don’t know Boxycharm is a monthly subscription box for $21.00 a month. You get 4-5 full-size beauty products and the box is always worth $100.00 or more. They also work with big brands like you will see in this review of the November Boxycharm.
The theme for this month is Goal Digger which I thought was super cute. Also, it is fitting for me because I have a few goals that I need to accomplish and seeing the theme was just like another reminder to get stuff done.
Okay lets start diving into what you came here for and I will let you know everything I got then my opinion. This month in my November Boxycharm I got:
CoverFX – Glitter Drops
Ace Beauty – Grandiose Palette
Luxie – Luminous Eye Set
Farah – Galaxy Gold Tweezers
Bodyography – Makeup Brush Cleaner
Ace Beauty Grandiose Palette
I know in my last months Boxycharm review I said I had a love-hate relationship with getting palettes in the box. Well, this month I love it and I am happy with this palette. The shadows blended well and as long as I tapped off the extra product I didn’t have much fallout. There was some kick back in the pan but that doesn’t bother me.
Overall I like this palette and this is something I can see myself using again. I am very happy this was in the November Boxycharm box and that it introduced me to a new brand. That is one thing I love about Boxycharm and I may see what other good beauty products Ace Beauty has
I also created 4 looks with this palette for you to have different options to recreate or get inspired. I will be posting all 4 looks this week so keep an eye out for each picture tutorial.
Luxie Luminous Eye Set
I love getting brushes in my box and its always a bonus when it’s a set. It’s also nice that they are soft, cute and mini. I used these brushes for all 4 of the looks I created and they are great. They blended well and were super soft on my eyes. We have gotten Luxie brushes inside our box before and they never disappoint.
Bodyography Makeup Brush Cleaner
Not every charmer received the brush cleaner some received a pair of lashes. I was hoping for the lashes but got the makeup brush cleaner which is okay because I will get some use out of this. If you don’t have many brushes I always recommend a good spot brush cleaner. This one works okay it’s not as good as my Sephora Daily Brush Cleaner that I definitely recommend.
Overall this product is okay. I wouldn’t purchase it again just because like I said my Sephora cleaner is the same thing and does a better job. Also, the Sephora cleaner is cheaper. The Bodyography brush cleaner is $12.00 for 59 mL and the Sephora brush cleaner is $8.50 (these are US prices that I checked, if you live in Canada like myself the brush cleaner will be C$11.00) for 60 mL.
Farah Galaxy Gold
I’m not sure really how to reviews tweezers. It’s nice that they are dual ended and they worked really well. They feel very sturdy and not flimsy. They are a good pair of tweezers and I will be getting some use out of them them.
CoverFX Glitter Drops
The last thing in my November Boxycharm box is the CoverFx Glitter Drops. When I first saw the sneak peek for this product I got excited but then I realize I probably won’t use this that much.
Now I like this product I used it has a highlight topper for my cheeks and it looked good. Just for me, I don’t want to much glitter for my highlight. I will play around with it more and see how I like it. On the Boxycharm Instagram, I did see a tutorial where she used it under her foundation, on her eyes, as a highlight and as a lip topper. So you have different options and I will continue to play.
Overall the Glitter Drops are nice and if you like glitter I think you would really like it.
