I was so excited when I ordered these. I have been wanting to buy a new brush set but I could never make my mind up on which ones to get. So when I ordered the Tribe Palette I thought I should try their brushes because there eyeshadows are so nice that maybe their brushes are too.
The brush set I got was the 9pcs Pro Red Set. This set looked like it had the most brushes I wanted. When I look for a set I look for ones that hav enough brushes I could do my whole face. I felt like this set would do that for me.
Price
These brushes cost US$40.00 which is a good price. It would make it a little over US$4.00 per brush. Which I think is amazing. There are a lot of high-end brushes out there for a lot of money. There is also a lot of lower end brushes as well but I didn’t want to settle on bad quality. Just because something is a little less expensive doesn’t mean it has to be bad. With these, I feel like I get a good price and good quality.

Packaging
The brushes I really like with the red handle and gold top. They are nice to look at and all of them are super soft. Sometimes brushes bother my eyes if they aren’t soft enough and I don’t have that problem here. They aren’t very heavy like some high-end brushes are but they don’t feel flimsy either.
J1 Round Top Foundation Brush

This brush does a good job of applying my foundation. I use matte foundations which I find can be streaky when applied with a brush. It does get a little streaky with this brush but if I bounce the brush on my skin like a sponge at the end I have no streaks.
J2 Flat Top Foundation Brush

This one as well is a good foundation brush. I do the same technique as the J1 and bounce it on my skin to get a flawless look. Personally, I prefer the rounded foundation brush over a flat one. I like this one more for my cream contour. It blends my contour out well.
J3 Tapered Contour Brush

This one is my favourite face brush in the set. It is so soft and blends my powdered contour so good. I feel like it does all the work and it is so effortless to get a clean look.
J4 Liquid Primer Brush

Honestly, I didn’t think I would use this brush for anything other than applying face masks. However, this one said it was for primer so I thought I will try it out. To my surprise I liked it. I have been using it with the No
J5 Round Eyeshadow Blending Brush

I really like his brush to apply my transition shade. If you have really small eyes you may not like this brush because it is pretty big. I find that it does do a good job of getting my transition shade on and blended out. Also, it is great for blending your crease colour into your transition shade.
J6 Buffer Eyeshadow Brush

This one, of course, is nice for blending out different eyeshadows into the crease. I feel like this type of brush is a staple in everyone’s brush collection.
J7 Small Shimmer Brush

Everyone needs a good brush to pack on eyeshadow and this is a good brush for packing. It says small shimmer brush but to me, it is actually pretty big. That is the only downfall because if I am doing a half cut crease or halo eye I need a smaller brush. Don’t get me wrong I can do it with this brush I just have to be extra careful because of the size. This one I’ll grab when I need to pack eyeshadow on my entire lid.
J8 Small Corner Brush

I use a pencil brush every time I do my makeup. This one is really nice because the tip is really pointy but still soft if that makes sense at all. You can never go wrong with getting a pencil brush in your brush set.
J9 Brow Definer

This is also a great brush because you can use it in multiple ways. I have two other brushes like this from different brands and I love them. You can use them to clean under your brow bone with concealer to give your brow a very clean look. I use them on my lower lash line to get a cleaner lower lash line. Also, you can use these when you are doing a cut crease to get a precise line.
Brush Set Thoughts
Overall I am really happy with the brush set and glad I purchased it. I wanted a set that I felt I could do my entire face and I get that with this set. It is also nice that the price isn’t too expensive like some brands out there.
